| This report shows you the top cities of the visitors to your website in order of popularity. WebSTAT obtains this information from the IP address of the visitor, comparing it to a database of IP addresses that have been allocated to different Internet Service Providers (ISPs) throughout the world. In reality, it is the city of the ISP that is displayed, but, in most cases, this is the same location as your site’s visitors. This has proven to be the most accurate method of obtaining city information. Our databases are updated periodically to account for changes in IP allocations. |
