Visits
A visit starts with the first page viewed on a specific day and ends with the last page viewed on that same day. A single visitor can make several visits to your website per day; however, WebSTAT only treats this situation as one visit for that day. For example, if a visitor first visits your web site in the morning, leaves for the day, and then comes back at night, they will only be counted as one visit for that day. Many PPCs (pay-per-clicks) charge based on the number of click-thrus that come from their web site. To best track this information, we have created Campaign Tracking.
