Frequent Visitor Report |
Visitor: WebSTAT defines a “Visitor” as a person (physical machine) that is either a returning visitor (been to your site before) or a unique visitor (first time visitor to your site). A visitor is counted one time per 24 hour period. So if, for example, a person comes to your site at 11:59 PM and views pages until after midnight, that person would be counted as 2 visitors since they span the midnight hour.
This report displays the most frequent visitors to your website based on their IP address, which can be helpful to find out who keeps coming back to your site. If WebSTAT is able, it will attempt to resolve that IP address to a domain name. If you are zoomed into the current day’s stats you can get even more details about each of your visitors by clicking on the IP address links within the report. This level of detail is only available for the current day.
