What qualifies as a search engine
Search engines are engines that use spiders or bots to search the web and find valuable content for users. When a search engine displays advertisements and pay per clicks on their site, they did not find the pages through searching and are acting as a directory, not a search engine.

Our list of search engines is quite extensive, but are only the ones we have encountered so far. If you have anything that you feel should be on our search engine list, and is not, please let us know.
